About Your New Job

As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:

• Lead and deliver electrical engineering design packages across all project stages, ensuring outputs meet accuracy, coordination, and quality standards.
• Manage the full electrical design process for projects of all sizes, apply engineering judgement, and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, supporting their technical growth and daily activities within the team.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions and attend design meetings, workshops, and site visits as required.
• Take responsibility for your deliverables' quality and commercial performance, while promoting consistency and best practice across project outputs.
• Assist BIM and modelling teams to produce coordinated 3D models and detailed drawings.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, contribute to technical input from concept to construction, and maintain the company's professional reputation.
• Support the implementation of new engineering processes, tools, and systems, and demonstrate leadership both internally and externally.
• Maintain and promote environmental standards in accordance with the company's EMS and sustainability commitments.

What Skills You Need

• Minimum degree level in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
• 3+ years of building services consultancy design experience, with proven ability to deliver detailed designs through the full project lifecycle.
• Expert knowledge in electrical design: Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire Alarms, CCTV & Intruder Alarms, MV/LV Power Distribution, Containment, and BMS.
• Advanced user of Amtech, Relux/Dialux; BIM experience advantageous.
• Strong understanding of other building disciplines and their integration with electrical design.
• Track record of effective leadership, commercial awareness, and project management.
• Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Chartership desirable.
