Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our thriving Building Performance Engineering team, based in Manchester. This is a relatively new multidisciplinary office that has already developed into a team of over 20 Building Performance Engineering, Structural, Transportation and Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental staff.

Core job functions:

1. Supporting or leading on a number of projects at any one time (typically up to five projects at differing stages)
2. Early stage strategic input to design from site appraisal stage
3. Detailed design to construction status information
4. Liaison with design team, statutory authorities and contractors
5. Undertake site surveys and inspection work
6. Mentoring and development of junior staff is a key part of the role.
