Senior E-commerce Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Bradford (Hybrid - x2 a week onsite in Central Bradford)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior E-commerce Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimise secure, high-performing B2C websites and shopping apps that deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including CRO and digital analytics analysts, SEO specialists, UX designers, and digital experience owners to build and maintain responsive, scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with Back End services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and personalisation experiments (A/B tests).
  • Implement SEO features and optimise web performance for speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Build and maintain secure, high-performance websites and apps using HTML5, CSS, jQuery, ASP.NET, and cross-platform frameworks such as Apache Cordova and Ionic.
  • Ensure compliance with UK regulations including UK-GDPR, PCI-DSS, and security best practices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute technical insights to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Stay up to date with emerging E-commerce technologies and industry trends.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in a full stack role.
  • Proven track record in building scalable, secure transactional E-commerce websites.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as AngularJS and jQuery.
  • Experience with ASP.NET, .NET, and Back End languages like C# or Java.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing technologies (Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target) and performance optimisation techniques.
  • Understanding of security best practices against vulnerabilities such as CSRF, XSS, and SQL injection.
Desirable:
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Knowledge of digital merchandising and UK retail market E-commerce systems.
