Job Description
Overview 
North Highland, a leading change and transformation consultancy, seeks a Director of Retail & Consumer Goods Management Consulting based in London. The Director will partner with the Portfolio Leader to shape strategy, deliver solutions, and grow the Retail business unit.
Responsibilities- Lead both business development and solution delivery (change management, project management) across the Retail & Consumer Goods sector.
- Develop and deliver in depth, long term solutions that align with client goals.
- Use creativity and strategic thinking to address client challenges and propose value adding solutions.
- Build and nurture client and internal relationships to drive results and growth.
- Identify, pitch, and sell solutions that deliver real value through North Highland's holistic consulting approach.
- Deeply understand the full range of capabilities - Strategy, Technology, People & Change, Experience Design, Process & Business Analysis, Data & Analytics, Programme & Project Management, and Professional Staffing.
- Position yourself as a thought leader through networking, speaking, writing, and community engagement.
- Manage relationships with prestigious London clients, engaging in some travel.
- Leverage training programmes for continuous development and business growth projects.
- Contribute to local community projects.
- Demonstrated senior level management consulting or advisory experience; Big4 experience preferred.
- Experience consulting within Retail & Consumer Goods.
- Strong credibility, ability to build consensus and activate collaboration with clients and teams.
- Creative ingenuity and proven ability to craft simple solutions for complex challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self awareness and commitment to continuous development.
- Experience in supporting business expansion within existing accounts and creating new opportunities.
- Proposal development and sales experience of business solutions.
- Track record of leading large, complex engagement teams and delivering results.
- Successful client account growth experience.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; master's or professional certifications are a plus.
