Senior Digital Project Manager

On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager (Inside IR35) for an 8 Month Hybrid contract based 2 Days in London.

As a Senior Project Manager you will deliver, or help to deliver, end to end projects including owning service delivery for a significant function or product, dealing with difficult and complex issues to ensure the stability of projects with the minimal disruption to the provision of services and operations to our users across HMCTS.

You will be working closely with cross functional product teams to build delivery roadmaps. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well; identifying obstacles and helping the team to overcome them. You will have the ability to focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services and encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team.

You will have a digital delivery background, and enjoy working in a delivery focused, agile environment with multidisciplinary teams. You will be required to use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels in HMCTS, MoJ and externally. On occasion you may advise the Director/Deputy Directors on decisions/recommendations regarding the progression and delivery using detailed knowledge of product/service being delivered. You will be expected to help or make major decisions relating not only to the organisation and allocation of work, but also for the direction and delivery of your team/project.

Skills & Experience:
. Previous experience of working in a digital organization, or an understanding of how large digital organizations operate in the context of this role
. Some prior team management/leader experience, managing and supporting the work of junior grades
. Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders to drive out needs and interpret between them
. The capability to be responsible for deciding direction and methodology
. Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
