SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER (Power Platform & Copilot Studio) - UN CLIENT OPPORTUNITY - REMOTE

For our UN client in Rome, we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer - Power Platform & Copilot Studio:
100% remote, supporting a UN agency in Rome
Start: Mid-November 2026 at the earliest, to be agreed
Initially 3 months, extensions possible

BACKGROUND
The expert will support a Copilot Studio solution for service-documentation authoring, owning controlled deployment, security readiness and operational handover. This is a hands-on role. Your CV must demonstrate what you personally packaged, deployed and operated, including pipelines, secure identities and recovery procedures.

TASKS
Implement solution packaging, connection references and environment variables
Establish a controlled Dev/Test/UAT-to-production deployment path
Manage versioned solutions, dependencies and managed deployments
Configure pipelines, deployment checks and release gates
Coordinate deployment/integration identities and service connections
Test permissions, access boundaries and least privilege
Support Conditional Access and data loss prevention
Prepare deployment verification, rollback and recovery
Produce release runbooks, monitoring guidance and handover documentation
Support approved releases and initial deployment-related support
Maintain delivery progress, defects, dependencies and test/release evidence in Azure DevOps Boards
Verify integration authentication and end-user access to agents and approved SharePoint sources

SKILLS
At least 6 years in enterprise Power Platform, DevOps or application life cycle management
Substantial Copilot Studio or Power Platform solution experience
Power Platform Pipelines and managed solution deployments
Connection references, environment variables and dependencies
Microsoft Entra ID, application registrations and service principals
Environment application users and security groups
Separate deployment and integration identities
Microsoft 365, SharePoint access and governance
Secure releases, permission testing, rollback and recovery
Relevant university degree or equivalent
Excellent English
PL-400 and AB-900 certifications are advantageous.

International competition applies. A competitive daily rate is important.
