Your Skills
- Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS (others considered).
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Expertise in tools GitLab, ArgoCD.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise with Terraform, Helm.
- Containerisation: Knowledge of Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Security Best Practices: Static and dynamic code analysis, vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
- Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Scripting Languages: Working knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Version Control Systems: Proficient in using Git and understanding branching strategies.
- Working knowledge of methodologies: Scrum, Agile, Waterfall and Kanban.
- Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor team members, ensuring alignment with technical goals.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for diagnosing and resolving complex issues efficiently.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with other departments.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing project requirements and new technologies.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in configuring environments and automating processes.
- Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

Your Tasks
- Contribute significantly to deploying, automating, maintaining and managing software on production systems, ensuring the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems.
- Work within an agile delivery process to deliver high quality estimates and outcomes for complex projects.
- Implement the DevOps strategy for achieving continuous delivery.
- Continuously innovate in terms of process and technology. Embrace emerging technologies in the Data sector like Snowflake and keep abreast of new frameworks, tools, and programming languages.
- Influence selection and adoption of core technologies, development tools and standards within the team.
- Work with team members to provide technical guidance. Provide technical coaching on complex issues to colleagues.
- Provide knowledge transfer; actively consult and educate internal and external team members.
- Build, release, and configuration management of production systems
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across infrastructure and application domains.
- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
- Ensuring critical system security using best-in-class security solutions.
- Contribute significantly to implementing technical solutions and improvements within a collaborative, high trust, solutions delivery team.
- Work independently, communicating regularly with stakeholders on solution implementation.
