Senior DevOps Engineer

Nexeo Belgium is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a major player in the financial sector.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Assemble IT components to create automated solutions
• Manage physical security applications (access management, alarm monitoring, fire panels, lifts, electricity management, etc.)
• Handle technical interfaces using ETL (SSIS) and Boomi
• Support software integration projects, especially with third-party providers
• Contribute to the migration of applications to an internal cloud environment (currently some hosted at Accenture Cloud)
• Be part of an on-call duty rotation (1 week per month), available within 30 minutes for urgent interventions

Your profile:

• Master's degree or equivalent by experience
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French

Technical skills:

• Strong expertise in ETL (SSIS)
• Solid knowledge of application architecture (client/server/middleware)
• Understanding of application security (authentication, etc.)
• Experience in software package installation and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of network concepts (firewall, proxy, protocols, security)
• Preferably experienced with cloud platforms (IBM, AWS, Azure)

Business experience:

• Experience working in large organizations
• Agile methodology and knowledge of physical security domains are considered assets

Soft skills:

• Solution-oriented and proactive
• Strong coordination skills, able to liaise between multiple teams
• Persistent, mature, and able to take full ownership
• Commitment to continuous learning
• Available and reliable for on-call support

• Hybrid model: 50% on-site / 50% homeworking
