Senior DevOps Architect - NIS2 - 9+ Months - Remote

Scope

Our client is looking for a NIS2 DevOps Architect who can optimize and modernize the clients DevOps ecosystem (on-prem & hybrid cloud) to enable secure, efficient, and compliant software delivery. The goal is to achieve NIS2 regulatory compliance by 2026 while improving automation, stability, and operational excellence.

Tasks & Deliverables

• Define target architecture and implement NIS2/security controls.
• Deliverables: Architecture documentation, control definitions, secure-by-design guidelines.
• Consolidate and modernize DevOps tools; establish governance and life cycle rules.
• Deliverables: Rationalization assessment, roadmap, governance concepts.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, IaC, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Deliverables: Automation improvements, process docs, monitoring setup.
• Align DevOps operations with cloud and hybrid models.
• Deliverables: Cloud alignment recommendations standardized operating models.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and train internal teams.
• Deliverables: Runbooks, documentation, knowledge transfer sessions.

Skills

• DevOps Toolchains: Azure DevOps, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory/ProGet
• Automation & Infrastructure: CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, configuration management, monitoring
• Compliance & Security: NIS2, ISO 27001, secure-by-design principles
• Enterprise Delivery: Architecture design, risk assessment, stakeholder communication, independent multi-teamwork

• Location: Mainly Remote/Occasionally Onsite
