Senior Development Valuer
Location: South West, hybrid
Contract: 6-months minimum
Rate: £450 per day
Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for an experienced Senior Development Valuer to support a busy public sector property team on a contract basis. This is a key role focused on development, disposals, acquisitions, valuations and wider property review work.
You will help deliver capital receipt objectives, support feasibility and development activity, and manage a varied caseload across a public sector property portfolio. This role would suit someone with strong local authority or public sector property experience and a background in development, valuation and disposals.
Responsibilities
Manage complex disposal and acquisition projects
Undertake valuations, property reviews and feasibility studies
Support delivery of capital receipts targets
Advise on planning issues and planning obligations
About You
Proven experience in development surveying, valuation or disposals
Strong understanding of local authority or public sector property work
Experience delivering complex property projects and negotiations
Knowledge of planning systems and planning obligation requirements
Strong report writing, stakeholder management and presentation skills
Politically aware and able to work in a complex environment
Full driving licence and access to a car
