AECOM's Development Infrastructure team is expanding, and we're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to work on a range of civil engineering infrastructure projects across Ireland. This role suits an experienced engineer who enjoys technical delivery, growing responsibility, and supporting junior team members.
Our Development Infrastructure team delivers civil engineering services across Ireland and the U.K., working with developers, housebuilders, local authorities, and major clients. We support projects at all stages, from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction, covering drainage, highways, flood risk, and water infrastructure. The team values practical engineering, collaboration, and mentoring, with a strong focus on quality and buildability.
Here's what you'll do- Lead and deliver civil engineering designs from feasibility and planning through to construction.
- Provide technical input, particularly in drainage design, and support the development of junior engineers.
- Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and to a high technical standard.
- Undertake site inspections, prepare reports, and manage technical and delivery risks on projects.

QualificationsReady to push the limits of what's possible?
Requirements- Degree-qualified Civil Engineer; Chartered or working towards Chartered status.
- Experience in drainage networks, SuDS, water distribution, flood risk, highways/pavements, and earthworks modelling.
- Comfortable using tools such as MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Clear communicator with experience working as part of multidisciplinary teams.
