Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global equipment manufacturer. Reporting to the design manager and working as part of a team, you will support the wider design team.

The Role:

• Develop new designs from initial concept to implementation and improve existing designs.
• Produce Bill of Materials and update documentation.
• Create 3D models and detailed drawings.
• Design modifications to ensure continuous improvement of existing products.
• Design a range of heavy manufacturing equipment.
• Customer interaction, supply chain, and production support.

The Person:

• 5 years' design experience gained within heavy manufacturing.
• Experience using SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
