Main duties of the job

What are we looking for?

As a Senior Dental Nurse, you will take the clinical and managerial lead of dental nurses and receptionists, including timetabling, recruitment, training and supervision. You will undertake dental nursing and reception duties within your job role and have a Key role within the GA service.

You will support the dental team in the provision of dental care in various settings across Nottingham. This will include a wide range of treatments for a broad client base which includes children, special needs, phobics and the elderly.

You will need excellent organisational, leadership and oral and written communication skills. Certificates in Dental Radiography and Conscious Sedation would be an advantage.

Flexibility is required with regard to working hours to cover the full range of sessions worked within the service, and which may on occasion include Saturday or Sunday.

Post holders will be expected to provide support at other clinics when necessary, therefore ability to travel is essential.
