Job SummaryAs our senior delivery lead, you will work collaboratively to create high-quality solutions benefiting thousands who need our support annually.

Clinical Services supports patients through testing laboratories, therapeutic services, blood stem cell collection, and research. Your skills and experience will directly impact patient lives across the UK and globally.
Note: This role offers hybrid working-primarily remote with occasional travel to centres (Barnsley, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Tooting, Colindale). The base location will be finalized after the final interview.

Main DutiesYou will be responsible for the effective and safe delivery of complex, high-risk technological changes supporting the Clinical Services directorate. Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the main escalation point for delivery issues within the product centre.
- Leading, coaching, and managing delivery managers and budgets.
- Establishing standards for agile practices and continuous improvement.
- Managing the product lifecycle, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Providing expertise in digital delivery and translating customer needs into tangible outputs.
- Planning and task management throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensuring compliance with government and NHS standards.
Travel and irregular hours may be required, with prior notice.
About You Experience and Knowledge- Leading large-scale projects in the public sector, familiar with governance and assurance bodies.
- Expertise in agile and traditional delivery practices, User-Centred Design, and industry standards.
- Experience managing teams across the product lifecycle and motivating diverse teams.
- Knowledge of NHS and health/social care sector, political drivers.
- Experience acting as Scrum Master and managing resources within budgets.
- Masters level education or equivalent experience.
- Recognized qualifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, Scrum Master) or equivalent experience.
- Commitment to professional development.
