More about the role & team We're looking for a mid-to-senior level SQL Server DBA to join our growing data team. This is a hands-on role focused on building and supporting a high-performance SQL Server environment that powers proprietary products across datacenters and AWS cloud infrastructure.
You'll work closely with colleagues in the US and EMEA, supporting both development and production systems, optimizing performance, and contributing to scalable, automated solutions.   • Provide development and production support for SQL Server environments
  • Write and optimize efficient T-SQL code and stored procedures
  • Design and tune large-scale databases, queries, and ETL processes
  • Support data processing, system analysis, and documentation
  • Collaborate with software engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams
  • Contribute to business intelligence and analytics solutions
  • Help automate database processes and improve system scalability
  • Work across cloud platforms, especially AWS

What skills and experience do I need to succeed?
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server 2014 or higher
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL and performance optimization
  • Experience managing and developing against large databases
  • Familiarity with database design, ETL, and diagnostic tools
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) or willingness to learn
  • Experience with at least one scripting or programming language
  • Strong analytical, logical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and integrate quickly into a small, agile team
  • Experience automating database processes or deployments
  • Experience building scalable solutions in cloud-native environments
  • Familiarity with analytical or BI tools
