Your Role as Senior Data Engineer & Team Lead As Senior Data Engineer and Team Lead, you'll be responsible for leading and mentoring the Data Engineering team while driving the development of scalable, high-performance data pipelines and infrastructure. In this hybrid role, you'll provide technical leadership, define system architectures, and strategically plan platform development while staying hands-on in designing and implementing data workflows and infrastructure improvements.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and mentor the Data Engineering team, building competencies and ensuring high-quality solutions
• Design and optimize large-scale, enterprise-level data processing system architectures
• Architect scalable solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and storage
• Collaborate with management on strategic planning and technical roadmap development
• Work cross-functionally with Data Science, Analytics, and Product teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
• Enhance monitoring, observability, and reliability of data processes
• Define technical standards, best practices, and software development processes
• Ensure security, stability, and scalability of data infrastructure

Your Profile:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering, including 3+ years in leadership roles
• Expertise in Python or strong proficiency in another programming language with willingness to master Python
• Deep understanding of distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or similar
• Advanced knowledge of cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data lake architectures
• Strong skills in data modeling, database design, and query optimization for relational and non-relational databases
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, Databricks, and PySpark for orchestration and scalable data processing
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and make decisions considering business aspects
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
