Senior Data Engineer

Vacancy: Senior Data Engineer Azure Python SQL 1 or 2 days office salary up to 85K

For one of the largest leading insurance companies in the Netherlands, I am looking for a Junior Data Engineer who is ready to work in a challenging environment and take the next step in his/her career.

You'll be part of the data consultancy team, which is responsible for supporting and advising the data engineering teams within the company. The team consists of two Data Architects and two highly experienced Data Engineers, so if you want to learn and take the next step in your career, here is a team to help you do that!

You will be responsible for implementing data pipelines, constructing scalable data solutions based on Delta Lake and Medallion, and providing support to the data engineering teams, of course, with the team's expertise backing you up.

We are looking for:

• Two years of experience in data engineering, preferably in an Azure environment;
• Strong proficiency with Python, SQL and Azure Data Services (Data Factory and Synapse);
• Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL processes;
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
