Requirements
  • Proven experience in finance systems development, including requirements gathering, ETL processes, data transformation and validation, and report building
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, including regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Experience with CCH Tagetik is preferred
  • Background in large-scale system implementations, including development, testing, and deployment
  • Understanding of insurance frameworks such as Solvency II is highly desirable
  • Qualified Accountant or strong finance background is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively across Finance and Technology teams
Responsibilities
  • Deliver end-to-end application development for CCH Tagetik, including design, build, testing, and promotion to production
  • Ensure all documentation, governance, and compliance requirements are met
  • Provide system administration support, including user access, upgrades, and database maintenance
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and reporting teams to drive system improvements and knowledge sharing
  • Support financial and actuarial teams with ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory and IT frameworks
  • Contribute to best practices in financial reporting, accounting, and controls

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join a programme within the financial services and insurance sector. This is a Senior Consultant (C2) contract role for 3 months, based in London with hybrid working and a BPSS clearance requirement. The rate is up to £437.50 per day, inside IR35. We are seeking someone with strong CCH Tagetik expertise to help deliver finance systems development, support regulatory reporting, and drive enhancements across critical reporting platforms.
