Senior Cyber Security Architect (Consulting)

Oliver James is mandated by their global consulting client to assist in hiring a Senior Manager within their Cyber Security Operations, specialising in Cyber Security Architecture. The role can be based in London, Manchester, Bristol, or Edinburgh on a hybrid basis, with a salary of up to c£120,000 plus a wider package.

Our client's main purposes include:

1. Deciding the best course of action to detect, investigate, and respond to threats.
2. Developing and establishing processes, governance, and ways of working to enable the delivery of the target operating model and service catalogue.
3. Supporting research activities to maintain an edge in cybersecurity practices.
4. Working with Engineers and Threat Hunters to analyse data from dashboards to strategise and improve continuously.
5. Leading migration and implementation strategies and plans.

Successful candidates should demonstrate a strong foundation in the following areas:

• Experience in solution design and development.
• Experience working with architecture frameworks, ideally TOGAF.
• Strong understanding of Security Operations, working within or alongside Security Operations Centres.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Delivery team management experience, managing teams of 5-15 people across various locations, cultures, and experience levels.
• Client stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from CISO to Developer.
