Senior Credit Manager

W&A is supporting a well-established, international organisation with the appointment of a Senior Credit Control Manager. This senior role is based in Glasgow and offers a hybrid working model, combining flexibility with regular in-office collaboration. The successful candidate will take ownership of a critical finance function, leading teams and shaping credit strategy in a fast-paced, complex environment.

This is a high-impact leadership position with responsibility for overseeing end-to-end credit control operations. You'll play a key role in protecting cash flow, managing risk and partnering with senior stakeholders to support sustainable commercial growth.

• Lead and develop the credit control function, setting clear direction and performance standards
• Oversee collections, debtor performance and cash targets across a diverse customer base
• Partner with senior finance and commercial stakeholders on credit risk and complex escalations
• Drive continuous improvement across credit policies, processes and controls
• Manage, coach and develop credit control managers and team leaders

• Proven experience in a senior credit control or receivables leadership role
• Strong people leadership skills with experience managing sizeable teams
• In-depth knowledge of credit risk, collections strategy and dispute management
• Confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders
• Commercially minded with a proactive, improvement-focused approach
