Role Overview

With more and more home sellers using the GetAgent platform, we are expanding the team! We work with over 7500 estate agents across the country; referring homeowners who would like them to sell a property. We are looking for a Credit Controller to ensure our invoices are paid in a timely and effective manner. Working as a vital member of the Accounts Team, you will be responsible for company debt management and seeking resolution for any invoice queries or disputes.

What you'll be doing
  • Handling key account customer queries and disputes.

  • Effectively communicate with our customers where we have escalated invoices for further action.

  • Manage debtors using our in-house Credit Control process to ensure timely payment of invoices.

  • Maintain and develop a working relationship with customers.

  • Correctly identify and process new cases escalated to debt collection

  • Analyse the invoice chasing process and suggest improvements where appropriate.

  • Assisting with general business operations activities

What we'll need from you
  • Experience and confidence in dispute handling. Ability to remain calm under pressure when handling issues/complaints.

  • High level of accuracy, following processes and managing queries efficiently

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise, often switching quickly between tasks

  • Good negotiation skills

  • Confidence speaking over the phone and providing a good overall customer experience

  • Excellent writing and numerical skills

  • Ability to think on your feet and respond to problems

  • Active listening skills: To understand customer concerns and find appropriate solutions.

  • Professional and empathetic approach
