Senior Core Banking Platform Engineer (FIS Profile/GT.M) - £700 per day via Umbrella - 1 month Contract - Remote - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Core Banking Platform Engineer (FIS Profile/GT.M) to support the implementation, integration and ongoing development of a core banking platform within a major financial services organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Core Banking Platform Engineer with experience of FIS banking solutions, GT.M, MUMPS or related technologies to support a critical banking platform operating within a highly regulated environment.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Core Banking Platform Engineer:

• Support and enhance core banking applications and platform services.

• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot Java-based services, integrations and APIs.

• Support FIS Profile or similar core banking solutions.

• Work with GT.M, MUMPS (M Language) or equivalent hierarchical database technologies.

• Deploy and support applications running on Linux/RHEL and Apache Tomcat environments.

• Investigate and resolve application, Middleware and platform performance issues.

• Support platform upgrades, migrations and production releases.

As a successful Senior Core Banking Platform Engineer, you will have:

• Experience supporting or developing FIS Profile, FIS banking solutions or other core banking platforms.

• Strong knowledge of GT.M, MUMPS (M Language), InterSystems Caché, InterSystems IRIS or YottaDB.

• Experience with Java and enterprise application development.

• Linux/RHEL administration and Shell/Bash Scripting experience.

• Experience with Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic or similar Middleware technologies.

• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

• Previous experience within banking, financial services, payments or building societies.
