Senior Contracts Engineer

Atlas Professionals are recruiting for a Senior Contracts Engineer for an Oil & Gas client based in Cove, Aberdeen. This will be a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, with the option to work from home one day per week. The position is on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

Essential

1. 10+ years' experience in oil and gas contracting with a proven track record of value delivery
2. Client contract management experience
3. Management of Client Variations and Contract Amendments
4. Ability to derive added value from suppliers, contain procurement costs, and mitigate exposure to risk
5. Strong interpersonal skills and a self-starter attitude
6. Team player and relationship builder focused on key performance measures
7. Strong negotiator with good influencing and project management skills
8. Outstanding communicator capable of engaging at all levels
9. Tactful, commercially astute, with natural drive and energy
10. Ability to relate to the dynamics of a "start-up" company

Desired

1. Legal/QS/CIPS qualification
2. Experience from both oil operator and service company perspectives
3. Knowledge of wells, particularly well abandonment requirements
