Job Description

Base Location: Glasgow

Salary: £58,100 - £87,100 (subject to experience) + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits supporting your finances, wellbeing, and family.

The role

We are seeking a Senior Contract Manager to join our Procurement and Commercial team at one of our offshore wind farms. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset performance. Your responsibilities include managing annual budgets, overseeing long-term service and maintenance contracts, and procuring goods and services in line with project timelines, including post-contract administration. The role is based in Glasgow, with travel to the operations and maintenance base approximately every 2-3 months.

You will
  1. Lead procurement of essential work scopes, ensuring cost efficiency and value for money throughout the contract lifecycle, including managing commercial, business, and legal risks and negotiating terms.
  2. Handle post-contract commercial matters, such as negotiating compensation events, and adhere to the principles outlined in the Commercial Manual.
  3. Promote and comply with safety policies and procedures, fostering a safety-first culture internally and externally.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractors, liaising with project contacts as needed.
  5. Deliver projects and contracts within the agreed scope and budget, ensuring successful completion.
You have
  1. Understanding of offshore wind markets, asset management support contracts, commodities, and services, with experience in developing project business cases and procurement strategies.
  2. A Quantity Surveying Degree, Procurement qualification, or equivalent, with membership in a recognized professional body preferred.
  3. Experience in procurement, contract management, supplier management, and vetting, with knowledge of contracts like NEC/Logic.
  4. Proficiency in drafting and interpreting commercial contracts, along with cost and budget management skills.
  5. Strong stakeholder engagement and management abilities.
