Job Description

Senior Consultant - Risk and Controls Self Assessment (RCSA)

Responsibilities
  • Manage RCSA program deliverables, including action plans, post effectiveness testing, and control evaluation.
  • Execute the RCSA program by facilitating a value added product that captures the risk and control environment while adhering to policy, standards, and guidebook requirements.
  • Review workflows to identify and drive the management of risks associated with the program and improve the overall control environment.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of RCSA program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Review the KPI/KRI framework, scorecards, and dashboards to ensure appropriate metrics for the RCSA program.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance RCSA program controls and initiate projects as required.
  • Implement controls to mitigate process risks.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify issues and ensure timely completion of actions to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure the RCSA system of record functions properly and coordinate with third party vendors.
  • Provide UAT testing support for the system of record as needed.
  • Improve overall risk management culture and knowledge through training and awareness sessions.
  • Collaborate with senior management risk partners and business lines to coordinate operational risk management activities.
  • Establish and maintain program processes and practices that keep the enterprise program current and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage or lead projects aimed at improving the overall program.
  • Communicate identified risks to key stakeholders, organize remediation action plans, and track risks to closure.
Qualifications
  • Strong financial services experience, especially within operational risk, controls, or audit.
  • Working knowledge of audit, risk, and operational management concepts and the ability to interpret the impact of decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive approach to process assessment and improvement, with the ability to identify trends and enhance processes for customers and the business.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and make independent decisions.
  • Familiarity with Fusion and/or Salesforce.
  • Experience performing regression testing.
  • Work authorization: right to work in Ireland for the duration of employment; no sponsorship for employment permits.
