Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Analyse stakeholder requirements and formulate design and development proposals to enhance Global Markets Back Office technology efficiency, ensuring alignment with Operations, Finance, and Control functions.
  • Deliver and support the Global Markets platform (Murex), ensuring high-quality functional delivery across Back Office modules, including settlements, confirmations, accounting, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage implementation and deployment of deliverables, ensuring compliance with operational processes and regulatory standards.
  • Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables and actively participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
  • Contribute to and support existing support teams in resolving issues related to Back Office operations such as settlements, confirmations, cash flows, accounting entries, reconciliations, and static data.
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, Risk, and IT stakeholders to define practical domain roadmaps that support the target operating model, considering business, technical, and delivery constraints.
  • Communicate principles, standards, target architecture, and roadmaps to stakeholders, proactively addressing risks, gaps, and concerns.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both business and IT stakeholders in defining and delivering robust, scalable, and high-quality Back Office solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent quantitative or science-oriented discipline.
  • Strong understanding of common traded financial instruments and their Back Office lifecycle, including settlement and accounting impacts.
  • Detail oriented, quick learner, proactive, and self driven professional.
  • 6 years of experience as a Back Office / Operations / Product Control / Accounting system business analyst or consultant within a leading trading or post trade platform.
  • Hands on experience with a flagship trading system, preferably Murex (Back Office modules), is a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience delivering projects within Financial Services, preferably Investment Banking, Operations, or Risk.
  • Solid experience in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements and functional specifications within a structured project delivery framework.
