The opportunity

EY's Global Tax Desk Network is staffed by tax professionals from approximately 10 global jurisdictions, providing real-time tax advice to our global clients. The teams work with local country tax professionals to offer in-depth tax advice on laws in their jurisdictions and tax-effective structuring of multi-country transactions. Our EMEIA Global Tax Desk team has over 60 professionals, mainly based in London, with members in Paris, Rotterdam, Munich, Madrid, Manama, and Doha. The US Desk seeks a Staff member with corporate experience or internship background to support the US Tax Desk leader in London, focusing on inbound US investment projects.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the US Tax Desk in building and maintaining client relationships and delivering high-quality service.
• Assist in business development and client management efforts.
• Support US Partners and Senior Managers in delivering tax projects with technical excellence and alignment with EY values.
• Contribute to the Go-To-Market strategy for the US Desk and support overall GTM initiatives within the EMEIA Tax Desk.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Proven knowledge of International and US Tax.
• Basic negotiation skills and ability to handle challenges.
• Team-oriented attitude with proven collaboration skills.
• Client-focused mindset with strategic and commercial awareness.
• Excellent English skills, both written and oral.
• Bachelor's Degree in Law and LLM in Taxation.
