Job summary

Join NHBC as a Senior Construction Quality Analyst and play a key role in driving higher construction standards across the UK's house-building industry. You'll use your technical expertise and analytical mindset to review build quality, identify opportunities for improvement, and support our customers in raising standards and reducing costs. What you'll be doing
  • Deliver NHBC's construction quality consultancy services for our customers, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience.
  • Review build quality, analyse trends and issues, and develop practical solutions to improve standards.
  • Work with small and medium-sized house builders to identify root causes of quality challenges and help implement improvements.
  • Lead presentations and problem-solving workshops that inspire change and best practice.
  • Promote NHBC's brand for construction quality and support new business growth.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, prepare reports, and contribute to raising standards across the industry.
  • Keep up to date with new construction methods, materials, and technologies.
  • Travel across the UK to meet with clients and attend events.
What we're looking for
  • Strong experience in the house-building industry, ideally with a focus on build quality or quality management.
  • A detailed understanding of construction methods, regulations, and standards.
  • Confident communicator, able to simplify technical information and present to different audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Relationship builder who can influence and engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercially aware, adaptable, and able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Relevant qualification (HND/HNC or above) and/or membership of a professional body.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
