The difference you will make as a Senior Compliance OfficerSupport the Contracts Manager in mobilisation, contract management, and administration of shared spaces & compliance contracts including Building Safety landlord compliance and reactive repairs. Act as the Competent Person for the delivery of statutory compliance obligations, ensuring full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and implementing an effective risk management approach.
About you- In depth knowledge of Mechanical Equipment or Electrical Equipment.
- Proven record of successful contract implementation and management for a large and diverse portfolio of mixed tenure properties.
- In depth knowledge of contract types, including construction contracts, service level agreements, contract performance management and dispute resolution.

Role Profile- Accountable for service delivery, contract management, risk management and leading risk based judgments.
- Manage Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, including access control, door entry systems, automatic doors, gates, intruder alarms, CCTV, and IRS TV systems.
- Contract management of all service delivery, compliance, and reactive repairs.
- Ensure CDM regulations compliance and appoint principal designer and contractor.
- Support development of compliance management models, policies, procedures and guidance.
- Provide technical, procedural, specification and compliance guidance across the lifecycle of buildings.
- Scoping, specifying, mobilisation and implementation of relevant contracts, assessing supplier competence.
- Review contracted services, drive innovation, seek efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.
- Monitor and report on contracts, develop performance frameworks, conduct review meetings and manage underperformance.
- Maintain data integrity for maintenance, repairs and service charge contracts.
- Analyse contract data and produce reports with findings and recommendations.
- Plan, schedule and oversee inspections, servicing, and risk mitigation activities.
- Commission work from internal and external parties, monitor progress, and manage performance to standards.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, providing advice, support, training and building constructive relationships.
- Contribute to budget monitoring, authorise low value payments, ensure robust financial controls.
- Maintain installation & compliance records using appropriate systems.
- Ensure ongoing compliance post contract award and update records.
- Escalate non compliance issues promptly through agreed routes.
- Coordinate, review and analyse contract performance data via multiple sources.
- Provide accurate advice to stakeholders on safety standards and compliance.
- Ensure internal business processes follow Group policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Respond flexibly to changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required.
- Ensure all data protection and health and safety requirements are met.
- In depth knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical Equipment.
- Proven record of successful contract implementation and management for mixed tenure properties.
- In depth knowledge of contract types, including construction contracts, SLAs, performance management and dispute resolution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of operating procedures within an Asset Management / Building Safety function.
- Proven record of using Project Management methodologies.
- Knowledge of CDM - construction Design and Management regulations.
- Effective stakeholder management, internal and external, including persuasion and influence.
- Results driven with strong analytical skills and ability to provide meaningful management information.
- Commercially aware with a focus on continuous improvement and ability to drive change.
- Customer focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail, able to work under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
- Evidence of sound judgement in effective decision making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Professional qualification in building safety / compliance, environmental services or asset management (e.g., Level 4 Diploma Asset Compliance, HNC).
- Knowledge of Compliance Information and Communications Technology systems (e.g., Academy, Open Housing Management, C365, Promaster).
- Professional membership of a relevant construction industry body.
