Client focus - Deliver on our promise
  • You will work as part of the Senior Construction Delivery Team, taking direction from the Construction Lead and Project senior leadership team, providing guidance to the wider team.
  • You will build relationships to manage and influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • You will build a strong working relationship with your clients, supporting the construction lead in turning the client's vision into a deliverable onsite plan.
  • You will manage and lead a team of Managers and Professionals, ensuring the principles, structures, tools/capabilities, and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and excellence.
  • You will address subcontractor contractual claims and change, produce monthly client applications, approve invoices, and issue IPCs.
  • You will draft necessary technical and contractual correspondence, commercially manage design consultants and specialist fees, and ensure site team compliance with legal and contractual procedures.
  • You will communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors and work collaboratively towards the net zero carbon transition, managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

  • You will provide technical support to Delivery Teams, promoting ownership and clear roles and responsibilities.
Minimum qualifications and skills
  • Chairs monthly project cost reports and risk meetings.
  • Strong financial skills and commercial acumen.
  • Understanding of project construction plans and measurement of variations.
  • Member of senior management and safety leadership teams.
  • Knowledge of current construction technology and experience working with various contracts.
  • Ability to cascade objectives and manage effectively.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent, and CSCS certification.
Preferred qualifications and experience
  • Membership of MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS / MICE or equivalent.
  • Experience in delivering projects in the construction sector.
  • Construction management expertise and experience leading large teams.
  • Stakeholder relationship management and knowledge of sustainability considerations in projects.
  • Contract law knowledge, negotiation, and presentation skills.
