Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

Join our finance team as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst and become a key player in driving our brand's financial success! In this role, you will be a strategic business partner, providing insightful financial analysis and support to guide critical commercial decisions and maximize profitability.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You will support the division in delivering the budgeted Net Sales target. The Senior Finance Analyst will act as a business partner to support the Commercial Team through budget management, with a strong focus on internal control and return on investment, ensuring accurate and correct allocation of investments.

The key responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the Commercial Team in maximizing profitable sales opportunities and monitoring the commercial P&L to promote optimal decision-making.
2. Providing financial support and guidance to Commercial Teams.
3. Identifying and informing the Head of Commercial Finance of commercial risks and opportunities.
4. Preparing monthly financial and management reports for Divisional & Corporate Management and Head Office in Paris.
5. Ensuring sales teams comply with promotional accrual processes and provisions are correctly recorded in SAP.
6. Preparing key commercial reports, including customer P&L's and stock analysis.
7. Leading ad hoc projects to improve controls and reporting.
8. Managing the commercial balance sheet.
9. Creating financial trends and budgets aligned with brand and channel strategies.
10. Maintaining controls according to group standards and supporting year-end external audits.
11. Providing ad hoc analysis on specific topics for brand and division management.

WHO YOU ARE

You possess:

• Excellent analytical skills
• Outstanding rigor and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills for close liaison with the Sales team
• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA)
• Experience in a consumer-driven and fast-paced sales environment (preferred)
• Highly organized with prioritization and strong communication skills
• Numerate with strong analytical and commercial acumen
• Flexibility for an international career (desired but not essential)
• Strong presentation and communication skills to influence and inspire
• Experience managing P&L, expansion analysis, and sales forecasts
• Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment
