We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Back-End Engineer to join our Data & AI Solutions - Engineering team within Healthcare R&D. In this role, you will help drive the development and continuous improvement of a critical AWS-based analytics platform that supports drug discovery and development. You'll focus on implementing and maintaining the platform's technical roadmap, designing new features, and ensuring smooth deployment and updates. Your role will also include managing infrastructure, security, and optimizing data lifecycle processes, ensuring efficient storage management and compliance with regulations.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and continuously improve the AWS Cloud-based analytics platform
• Design and implement new platform features and handle seamless updates
• Manage infrastructure and security aspects of the platform
• Implement data archival strategies and optimize data lifecycle processes
• Collaborate in an agile, multicultural team with high autonomy

Core Skills/Experience

• Proficient in Python (especially with boto3 for AWS services) and AWS tools
• Strong experience in cloud system design
• Proficiency in SQL and OOP
• Familiarity with AWS CDK, Lambda, and DevOps tools
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles
• Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID for identity management and experience with R and SAS for data analysis and modeling
