Senior Cloud Engineer

RED has a new opportunity for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our client and take ownership of cloud infrastructure and automation. This role involves designing and implementing robust architectures, managing cloud environments, and ensuring best practices in deployment and scalability.

Hybrid working model with a requirement to attend site in Madrid once a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud architectures from scratch using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Manage and optimize AWS services for high availability and performance.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and oversee container deployments.
• Implement a Serverless First philosophy using AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB.
• Work with event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ).
• Drive CI/CD pipeline development and automation for efficient delivery.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS and its ecosystem.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with serverless architectures and AWS services.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems (RabbitMQ).
• Advanced skills in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Fluent in Spanish and English C1 level (written and spoken)
