Senior Civil Estimator

Due to the increasing workload within YTL Construction (Infrastructure), we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Estimator to work as part of the Estimating team.

You will deliver construction estimates for in-house teams and provide assurance and governance to schemes delivered with our external partners.

What you'll do

You will prepare civil estimates through the interpretation of civil drawings and specifications, review tender enquiry documents, drawings, and schedules, and gather information from site visits and meetings.

You will also record, measure, and prepare take-off quantities from tender drawings, liaise with sales and contracting teams, and lead negotiations with our supply chain.

You will collaborate with our Commercial teams and be involved in negotiating variations, applications, and final accounts with our external construction partners, building strong relationships with Designers, Project Managers, client teams, and suppliers.

What you'll need

You should have significant civil engineering experience. Water and wastewater experience is highly desirable.

You must be capable of preparing civil engineering estimates, analyzing engineering drawings, and preparing sub-contractor and supplier enquiries and contract documents.

Excellent computer skills, with extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle are required.
