What is the RoleAs a Senior Data Analyst / Senior Campaign Analyst within the Personalisation team, you will play a key role in designing and shaping customer engagement solutions that support more relevant, timely and effective interactions across inbound and outbound channels.
The role has a strong focus on campaign solution design, including defining required data, eligibility logic, trigger conditions and channel approach to support delivery through our campaign management platforms.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, Data Engineering and platform teams to assess feasibility, resolve complexity and ensure solutions are designed for reuse, operational effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
This role is central to enabling data-driven, compliant and well-governed customer engagement, supporting AIB's strategic, customer and commercial objectives while maintaining alignment with regulatory and data governance standards.
Key Accountabilities- Design customer contact and personalisation solutions for campaigns, ensuring requirements are clearly defined for implementation across relevant channels and platforms.
- Partner with delivery squads, platform teams and stakeholders across the organisation to provide solution guidance, support implementation and ensure consistency in how campaign solutions are designed and deployed.
- Analyse customer behaviour, data and campaign context to identify the most appropriate engagement approach and support more relevant and effective contact strategies across inbound and outbound channels.
- Identify and help resolve complex issues impacting campaign solution delivery, including data quality issues, design gaps, platform constraints and campaign-related failures.
- Ensure all solutions and analytical outputs comply with AIB's regulatory, compliance and data governance standards, with appropriate controls embedded in contact and eligibility design.
- Define and manage mobile app tagging or deeplink requirements for campaigns, including event design, QA validation, and collaboration with developers to ensure accurate tracking (e.g., via Firebase or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree (2.2 or higher) in a numerate discipline such as Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering or Econometrics, or an equivalent qualification combined with relevant experience.
- 3-4 years' practical experience in analytics, ideally within Financial Services, Marketing or Customer Contact environments (experience in equivalent domains will also be considered).
- Strong analytical and numerate capability, with a clear passion for data and analytics.
- Experience creating, interpreting and presenting analytical outputs, business requirements and solution recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
- An understanding of customer engagement ecosystems and the processes required to deliver communications across multiple channels in a regulated environment is an advantage
- An understanding of mobile app ecosystems (iOS/Android) with hands on experience in event tagging frameworks (e.g., Firebase, Adobe/GA4), including defining, validating, and troubleshooting event tracking to support campaign personalisation and measurement is an advantage
