Senior C++ Software Engineer

The position

As part of our growing organization, we are looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our team in Eindhoven and contribute to ongoing projects.

As a Senior C++ Software Engineer , you are responsible for:

• Develop and maintain high-quality C++ software for measurement and inspection systems
• Work with hardware and engineering teams to make sure software communicates correctly with measuring instruments
• Create algorithms and tools that process measurement data accurately and efficiently
• Help design the structure and architecture of new and existing software projects
• Improve software performance, stability, and reliability
• Review code from other developers and provide feedback
• Work with product and R&D teams to understand user needs and turn them into working software
• Share knowledge and help guide junior team members when needed

Your Profile

• 8-10 years of professional software development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in modern C++ (C+/14/17/20)
• Strong foundation in mathematics, especially geometry, linear algebra, numerical methods, precision calculations, data analysis, or similar
• Experience designing and building complex software for real-world systems, ideally systems involving data processing, measurements, automation, real-time or high-accuracy requirements
• Comfortable working with systems that integrate software, hardware, and possibly measurement devices or instrumentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-disciplinary team
