Senior Business Support Assistant (Certificate of Sponsorship Available)
Employer: NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC)
Location: West House, Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland
Contract: Fixed-term until 31 March 2027
Hours: Part-time (18 hours per week)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (schedule to be agreed)

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an experienced Senior Business Support Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Health Improvement Team. The successful candidate will support employability programmes delivered across:
- ESTEEM
- Family Nurse Partnership
- Youth Health Service
- Social Work Intensive Monitoring Service
- Provide high-quality administrative and business support.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and produce accurate minutes.
- Maintain confidential records and respond to enquiries professionally.
- Manage and update information using the Hanlon Employability System.
- Support programme monitoring and reporting.
- Work closely with Employability Coaches and the wider Health Improvement Team.
- Prioritise workloads and meet multiple deadlines effectively.
- Maintain accurate electronic records using Microsoft Office applications.
Applicants should have:
- Proven experience in a business support or administrative role.
- An HNC, SVQ Level 3 in Business Support (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience organising meetings and taking detailed minutes.
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft PowerPoint
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience handling confidential information appropriately.
Desirable- Experience using the Hanlon Employability System or similar data management systems.
