Senior Business Manager

AYES, multinational engineering and technology consulting company, as part of the strengthening and expansion of its activities in Italy and abroad, is looking for a Senior Business Manager to support the company's expansion in Portugal, with headquarters in Porto or Lisbon.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering
• At least 4 years of experience as a Senior Business Manager in engineering and technology consulting firms
• Strong commercial and business development skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Strong results orientation and entrepreneurial attitude
• Ability to work in dynamic and challenging environments
• Excellent knowledge of English and Portoguese; knowledge of other languages is considered a plus

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

• Business development and acquisition of new projects in the Portuguese market
• Creation and management of new business opportunities with prospective clients and management of the client portfolio
• Client relationship management and monitoring of market opportunities
• Collection of technical and project requirements and proposal of consulting solutions
• Active participation in the preparation of commercial proposals

Business Unit Management

• Management and development of the consulting team
• Responsibility for the Business Unit budget and profit & loss
• Monitoring of economic, financial, and operational performance

Recruiting & Talent Management

• Identification and selection of new talents
• Management of career development and professional growth paths of resources, in collaboration with HR
