Amazon's vendor recruitment team is seeking a talented Vendor Manager. Our goal is to drive scalable growth for our Retail business in Europe (EU) through cultivating vendor partnerships and onboarding the most desired brands by EU customers. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding and scaling key customer-relevant brands across the EU for the first 12-18 months on Amazon Retail.
You may work on any product family (Consumables, Hardlines, or Softlines) depending on team needs.
Key Responsibilities- Build the best possible product selection by developing partnerships with new vendors. Prospect, assess, reach out to, and launch new vendors on Amazon.
- Identify, prospect, and evaluate potential vendors for Amazon. Lead initial engagement through cold-calling, attending trade fairs, and explaining the benefits of partnering with Amazon.
- Serve as a business consultant to new vendors, providing insights, advice, and support for catalog data integration and training on Amazon's internal tools.
- Manage the entire vendor recruitment cycle independently, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Negotiate annual terms to ensure long-term sustainable growth for vendors on Amazon.
- Plan, conduct, and report analyses to monitor vendor performance.
- Assist in developing and refining recruitment and onboarding processes, resolving technical issues, and renegotiating terms as needed.
- Own projects and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive results.
- 4+ years of experience in retail or business management/consulting with a focus on negotiations and results delivery.
- Bachelor's degree.
- English proficiency at C1+ level.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding business or financial KPIs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all decision-making levels, including C-suite executives.
- Experience analyzing large data sets and generating insights using Excel, SQL, or similar tools.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce for tracking sales activities.
- Knowledge of another EU language is advantageous.
- SQL skills are a plus.
