Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager, focusing on Private Capital, to join their London office. The role is instrumental in delivering the BD strategy, partnering closely with Sector Leaders to shape and execute a forward looking plan aligned to firmwide priorities, designed to drive profitable growth through effective cross selling, proactive client engagement, and insight led sector opportunities.

The Responsibilities
  • Support strategy development and execution for the Private Capital sector, ensuring alignment with firm priorities.
  • Build collaborative relationships with sector leaders, relationship partners, and product teams to drive cross selling and strategic execution.
  • Partner with Client Relationship Managers to focus efforts on high potential private capital clients and opportunities.
  • Deliver targeted business development initiatives and advisory support on pitches to position the firm for new opportunities.
  • Analyse market intelligence and leverage data insights to identify emerging trends, create campaigns, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Ensure effective communication, knowledge sharing, and coordination across sectors for clients spanning multiple areas.
The Candidate
  • Proven experience in global sector business development within legal/professional services, including creating and executing sector strategies that drive cross selling and revenue growth, with strong knowledge of the Private Capital market.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex, cross office and cross product environments, using data driven insights to identify opportunities, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver major projects.
  • A self starter with strong relationship building and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with partners and teams across the firm.
