We are currently looking for a driven and proactive Senior Business Development Manager to be responsible for generating and increasing opportunities with new clients for our key products - The Exchange, Trigold and Xplan Mortgage. Working closely with the Head of Business Development, other Senior BDMs, BDMs and Training Consultant, you'll manage and nurture the relationships of key accounts (with specific attention to Mortgage customers) alongside finding and managing the relationships of potential new clients. You will be a natural at building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the client sees Iress as a strategic partner essential to the growth of their business. Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with: Managing accounts to ensure both parties deliver on their contractual commitments, build a mutually beneficial, sustainable relationship and ensure new opportunities are exploited Uncovering new sales opportunities and potential relationships Lead the development, implementation and adoption of the full suite of sourcing products including Mortgage and Protection products Collate and analyse monthly usage actual and forecast reports Support the delivery of new and enhanced product features and propositions Own commercial negotiations and ongoing revenue forecasting for clients Clearly articulate adoption issues and assist in identifying solutions for overcoming these Ability to identify potential additional revenue opportunities Act as an ambassador for the company in meetings and communications with clients What you will bring: Core experience working within financial services (ideally Mortgages) in an equivalent sales or account management role An understanding of IFA practices and technology requirements as well as trends and issues Willingness to travel - this position will require you to attend events and visit clients nationwide Excellent communication and verbal presentation skills Client focused with strong influencing and negotiation skills Excellent attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues Self-motivated with evidence of developing great working relationships with clients/prospects Ability to achieve results and work in a constantly changing environment Organised and methodical in your approach Awareness of Iress' competitors and their service offerings 8 paid days per year to extend your weekends + 25 days annual leave State-of-the-art offices Free on-site gym in our Cheltenham office open 24/7 New Short-Term Incentive and Recognition program Casual dress, flexible work policy Access to learning and development programs through LinkedIn Learning 3 days' leave per year for charity initiatives Starting school leave - 8.5 days of leave to assist your kids with the transition to school Life Insurance & Private Medical Up to 26 weeks' paid parental leave for primary carers (up to 4 weeks for secondary carers), and the ability to work part-time when returning to work Iress is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive culture.
