iO Associates are working with a leading health care organisation to hire a Senior Bids & Tenders Manager to lead their NHS and public sector bid strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how a well-respected organisation competes for and wins major contracts.

This role goes beyond process management, we're looking for someone who can offer strategic input and commercial insight, adding real value beyond just ensuring compliance. You'll be involved in large, multifaceted projects (£10m-£50m) that span a range of offerings, playing a key part in shaping decisions and positioning the organisation for success across public sector opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development and delivery of high-quality, strategic NHS/public sector bids
• Build effective relationships with internal teams and senior stakeholders
• Own and improve the bid process, ensuring it aligns with business goals and best practice
• Manage end-to-end bid life cycle, from qualification to post-submission review
• Support teams in client presentations and drive collaboration across functions
• Deliver multiple high-value bids under pressure while maintaining quality

What We're Looking For

• Experienced bid leader with a strong track record in similar roles
• Confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders
• Deep understanding of NHS/public sector bidding (strongly preferred)
• Commercially aware, strategically minded, and outcomes focused
• Effective in fast-paced environments; calm, credible, and collaborative
• Ready to lead from day one, not a step-up opportunity
