Job Title: Senior Bid Manager, MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa
Salary: £43,800-£58,500 per annum
Location: Cambridge, Hybrid
Contract: Full time, permanent

About the role
As a Senior Bid Manager for the MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa regions, you will manage and oversee the production of high-quality and compelling bids and proposals. Your role will be crucial in meeting customers' expectations and supporting revenue generation for Cambridge Partnership for Education (Cambridge). You will work collaboratively with various teams within Cambridge University Press & Assessment to secure the necessary resources and provide guidance throughout the bid production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide advice on the bid and proposal production processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to secure technical, commercial, and specialist inputs.
- Lead the implementation of internal processes to ensure timely submission of all relevant documents.
- Contribute to innovative ways of streamlining and developing bids and proposals.
- Oversee content production and ensure high-quality, compliant bids.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and advise on the feasibility of pursuit.
- Maintain a bank of standard information for bid production.
About you
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in project management or business acumen in the education sector. Even if you don't have direct Senior Bid Manager experience, this role could be a fantastic development opportunity for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals.
- Experience in tender and proposal production direct to government or through international development agencies such as the Work Bank (desirable)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at a senior level.
- Strong IT skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commercial understanding of procurement processes
- Understanding of international education systems.
