Senior Assortment Planner - Hilversum (Hybrid)

The Senior Assortment Planner, EMEA is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end assortment planning process across Sports, Franchises, and Product Families for the EMEA region. The role ensures the right products are bought, placed, and forecasted to optimize sales, margin, inventory, and product health.

Key Responsibilities

• Assortment & Financial Planning
  
  
  • Own and manage the EMEA Sport assortment plan from early planning stages through responsive in-season adjustments, down to style-color level.
  • Build and validate Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans and Stock & Sales Plans (SSP) to maximize revenue, margin, and inventory health.
  • Oversee key Franchises/Product Families, aligning to global health targets and ensuring strong marketplace demand.
  
  In-Season & Responsive Planning
  
  
  • Lead responsive and always-available planning across multiple seasons, integrating analytical forecasting with marketplace feedback to optimize revenue and inventory.
  
  Cross-Functional Collaboration
  
  
  • Partner closely with Merchandising, Business Planning, Sales, Direct-to-Consumer teams, and Marketplace Planning Units to support major seasonal and commercial moments.
  • Manage day-to-day project responsibilities independently within the Sports Planning environment.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar AP/merchandising role
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of product life cycle and sport marketplace dynamics
• Growth-oriented, data-driven decision-making
• Commercial acumen and ability to influence using insights
• Knowledge of marketplace and consumer segmentation
• Energetic, positive attitude with interest in retail and fashion.
