Your Responsibilities Senior Fund lawyer - Law firm - Funds - Legal - Law

You advise clients on fund financing structures and analyze fund structures such as limited partnerships, feeder funds and so on.
You lead and manage all phases of fund financing transactions from initial structuring through closing.
You draft, review and negotiate key financing documentation including credit agreements, security agreements and so on.
You work closely with the Partner of the firm and other team members.

For this open vacancy, we are looking for a candidate with at least 7 years of experience within a law firm in Luxembourg, more specifically in the investment fund or banking & finance department.
Experience with fund financing is asked for this role.
You should have an excellent command of English. Any other languages will be considered an asset in your candidacy, and especially German.
A previous exposure to Alternative Investment Funds is required for this position, primarily Private Equity funds.
You are registered at the Bar of Luxembourg or another European jurisdiction.
You describe yourself as an organized and curious person who is looking to expand their knowledge in the Fund Industry in Luxembourg.
You are able to work in an autonomous way without constant supervision, although you can of course always count on your colleagues.

On an independent status, depending on your level of experience, you can count on an excellent salary of up to €240.000 gross (VAT excluded) per year. This salary is of course, also based on your background, number of years of experience and technical skill set.
In addition, you will also receive complementary health insurance coverage and paid vacation days, which is quite rare for an independent status!
You will join an international law firm with a presence across the globe but that still maintains a human size in Luxembourg. Therefore, you will work closely with the Partner and your other colleagues.
Offering flexibility is important for the Partner : You will join the type of law firm where there is no issue to leave the office earlier to pick up your children from school and for example end the day at home, or even to organize your agenda the way you see fit.
Growth prospects are offered to everyone : in the next year or two, and depending on when you passed the Bar, you will become Counsel in this firm.
Work closely with the offices abroad ensuring you work with some of the most prestigious clients on a global scale, and giving you access to a wide variety in terms of complexity of the files.
