Position Description

Responsibility for leading the credit rating process of European corporate clients (full analysis process including an in-depth analysis of the quantitative and qualitative variables of a company) that results in a comprehensive rating report.

Must be available to travel within Europe (mainly Spain, France & Portugal) and be comfortable leading meetings with Senior level professionals (mainly CFO's).

Position also requires maintaining a portfolio of clients under surveillance and taking rating actions when warranted.

Qualifications:

• Degree in business. CFA, MBA and technical backgrounds (math, engineering) valued positively.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably as a credit risk analyst at a bank (corporate or large company segments), rating agency, asset manager etc.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis.
• Knowledge in credit analysis of Project Finance transactions is a plus.
• Good communications skills.
• Advanced/Fluent English both written and spoken. French and Portuguese is a plus.
• Advanced Excel
