Senior Asbestos Surveyor - London

Location: London
Salary: £38,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent Full-time

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Asbestos Surveyor to support a busy and expanding workload across London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor ready to take the next step, offering increased responsibility, technical input, and long-term progression.

This role is ideal for someone confident in leading surveys, supporting junior staff, and maintaining high technical standards across a variety of projects.

The Role
  • Leading Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
  • Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors
  • Conducting bulk sampling across a range of property types
  • Producing and reviewing accurate, compliant survey reports in line with HSG264
  • Managing workload across multiple sites
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSE guidance and company procedures
  • Liaising professionally with clients and internal teams
About You
  • BOHS P402 (essential)
  • Additional qualifications (P403/P404) desirable
  • Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor with ability to work independently
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of HSG264 guidance and asbestos legislation
  • Professional, organised, and reliable
  • Full UK driving licence
