We're partnering with one of Manchester's most respected Architectural & Interior Design studios to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist on a freelance basis. With a strong and growing pipeline of large-scale residential projects across the North West, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in technically delivering high-profile schemes.

This contract is initially for 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension.

The Opportunity

You'll work alongside experienced Senior Technologists and Architects, taking ownership of technical delivery and coordination across multiple residential projects. This role is particularly focused on the later RIBA stages (46), so strong technical detailing and construction-stage knowledge are essential.

You'll be trusted to contribute meaningfully, collaborate across disciplines, and help drive projects from technical design through to completion.

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and contributing to technical delivery across RIBA Stages 46
• Coordinating design information across consultants and subcontractors
• Preparing high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Producing documentation for tender and Building Control submission
• Ensuring compliance with UK Planning, Building Regulations, and CDM Regulations
• Identifying technical challenges and developing clear, buildable solutions

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK architectural practice or multidisciplinary consultancy
• Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (3D)
• Working of AutoCAD (2D)
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple live projects
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical excellence
• Collaborative approach with the confidence to contribute ideas
