Senior Android Developer

Hybrid (1 day/week onsite in Dublin)

I'm looking for a visionary Principal Android Engineer to drive technical excellence across our customer-facing mobile app. This is your chance to shape architecture, mentor top talent, and deliver delightful, high-performance solutions used by millions.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical strategy and architecture across multiple agile teams
• Drive adoption of modern Android practices including Jetpack Compose and modular design
• Mentor engineers, elevate code quality, and foster a culture of innovation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly features
• Own operational excellence, CI/CD pipelines, and production resilience

What You Bring

• 10+ years in Android development, 3+ years in technical leadership
• Expert in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, and system-level optimization
• Proven track record of architecting and scaling apps in the Play Store
• Deep understanding of clean architecture, testing strategies, and agile methodologies
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence across teams and disciplines

Bonus Skills

• Experience with cross-platform code reuse and mobile accessibility standards
• Familiarity with AWS mobile services (API Gateway, AppSync, Lambda)
• Background in regulated industries like travel or aviation
• Passion for performance optimization and data-driven developmen
