Senior Analytics Consultant
Permanent | Remote (occasional travel to London)
Salary: £60,000-£75,000

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Analytics Consultant to join a growing consulting team delivering advanced analytics and Business Intelligence solutions to some of the UK's most recognised organisations. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for solving business problems through data. You'll work closely with clients to understand their challenges, design effective analytics solutions, and deliver high-quality insights that support better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on analytics best practices and deliver solutions on time and within budget

  • Capture and analyse client requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Design and develop Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics solutions

  • Model and transform data and build ETL pipelines to support analytics platforms

  • Implement data solutions using best practices for data integration and management

  • Design and develop reports and dashboards to present insights clearly for business stakeholders


Requirements

  • Strong client-facing experience, ideally within a management consultancy or systems integrator

  • Demonstrable experience designing or developing advanced Business Intelligence & Analytics solutions using the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)

  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions

  • Design and development experience using data discovery tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau

  • Strong experience in data modelling, data transformation, and ETL development

  • Hands-on programming experience with Python

  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks

  • Experience or awareness of Big Data, Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning technologies, including integration of ML models or Generative AI components

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
